Of The Apple is a film I made in my first year at the RCA.
The story takes place within the context of the book of genesis, but it is not really about religion. It observes female sexuality, and the way that the world encourages women to be sexual, whilst simultaneously condemning them for it. Ultimately, it is often the females that are left with the consequences of their curiosity.
The animation was digitally painted in TV Paint.

So I Danced Again… is my graduation film from the Royal College of Art 2017.
Notes in an animated sketchbook depict a meandering attempt to investigate the meaning of sounds we hear in the world. But perhaps the only response is to dance.

During the Summer in 2017 I worked on a project with eOsphere, a remote monitoring company. They were looking for interesting visuals on the subject of how satellite imaging can assist in fighting, in this case, forest fires.
This became a short film called “Standby” featuring painted landscapes, abstract interpretations of satellite data and flickering fimo textures.
“Standby” was screened as part of The New Horizon of Space Technology exhibition at Modern Art Oxford in October 2017.
“Entrevista/Interview” is a short animated documentary created at the Royal College of Art.
The film shows a conversation in the format of an interview. The conversation is about family members migrating to America from Guatemala, but the film is more about intimacy between the speakers.
